Problem #1 Comments
The winds from the w/sw are creating pockets of soft to medium density slabs above 7,500. We found a few pockets of hard slabs on w/nw slopes above 8,700, mostly around tree wells.

Problem #2 Comments
The significant amount of medium to light density snow received on the front range of the Bear River Range is creating excellent ski conditions. On slopes steeper than 28 degrees, the snow creates a soft sluff, which could be problematic if skiing in steeper or rocky terrain. Additionally, the wind could easily blow the light snow creating wind drifts and stiffer snow slabs.
