It felt pretty cold today, and the temperature was in the low teens. The wind shifted from the NNE initially to the NNW by late afternoon and remained moderate for most of the day with some brief periods of light wind, with a decent bit of wind scouring and wind loading. Sky was partly cloudy with periods of clear skies.

Zones that were sheltered from the wind held fresh, fluffy powder that was fun to ride. Wind crust observed on exposed ridgetop.

Big wind pillows and some wind slabs observed in sheltered, wind loaded zones. A persistent weak layer exists between 17 and 36 cm (100 cm HS) on North facing mid elevation slopes.
