Red Flags Comments
Although things seem to be relatively stable in the mountains there are still pockets of faceted snow on the north faces. This was most obvious around large boulders where the snow pack is more shallow and readily collapses from the weight of a skier. Things seem to be heating up in the afternoons. Be aware of the potential for wet slides on sunny aspects in the afternoon. Several recent wet slides were visible in talking mountain cirque.
