Wind transport was visible from town in the morning, however they died off by midmorning. We enjoyed sunny skies and mild winds for the rest of the day.

The new snow that fell Wednesday night was blown around by the strong northern winds creating firm wind affected conditions along the ridge and a soft windslab on leeward slopes just below the ridge line. Lower slopes were unaffected by the wind but were affected by the sun.
