Riding conditions continue to be excellent with a relatively stable snowpack.

I was surprised to find the wind hadn't hammered the upper elevation snow but winds were picking up again as we left. The new snow wasn't as sensitive as it was yesterday.

Pit tests reflected weak interfaces on small grain facets just below the recent storm snow and below last week's series of small storms. Something to watch in the future. The deep slab issue where we were didn't seem as worrisome as it has in the past although we still got failure, albeit with hard effort, in the basal facets.

Moderate danger where we traveled today. Moderate danger tomorrow depending on tonight's snow and wind. More snow and wind will make the danger more considerable, especially in upper elevation wind loaded terrain.
