Overcast for most of the day with periods of light to moderate snow fall. The city of Monticello has been plowing the road to the base of the old ski area. It had not been plowed today and required four wheel drive with some clearance.

8" to 10" of soft fluffy snow fell overnight in Abajos with very little wind present.

Our hasty pit today revealed a 135 cm base at the top of the old ski area on a north east facing slope. The new snow that fell landed on top of 80 cm of firm nice snow, which is sitting on top of 20 to 30 cm of facets.
