Approximately 3" new snow on top of a somewhat icy layer. Some evidence of windslab at highest elevation on E-NE aspects.

Only major red flag observed was a 2-4" deep windslab that released near 8400 feet, 40 degree slope and ran about 20 feet. Located below cornice on a ridge, cornice did not fall. No one was caught, carried or injured.

Visibility was poor for much of the trip. We had to wait for moments of clearing before skiing certain lines to ensure a visual on each person. Overall, snow conditions were very enjoyable with a few inches of new powder. We did find evidence of an older, very large slide near the base of the bowl.
