Red Flags Comments
Significant wind loading near ridge tops was noted this afternoon with some collapsing atop the ridge line. Observed wind loading from the previous night and this morning below a ridge I had climbed late afternoon yesterday which had started to firm up a bit; some surface cracking visible but no audible or physical collapses observed. Cornices on ridge top were pretty soft but were growing larger and stiffer pretty rapidly. I would not ski same upper elevation terrain I did yesterday and today tomorrow.

Problem #2 Comments
Some sloughing on steeper terrain but for the most part new snow still really light and did not pick up speed or start to form soft slabs/entrainment of other snow.
