Snow Characteristics Comments

Snow was still dry on LSB NE facing when I left at 2:00pm. Snow on the S end of the compass was crusted in the morning and about ready to become unsupportable by 2:30 on my exit, probably missed out on the corn on the South side but would rather ski dry snow on the North end of the compass.

Comments

Went to Little Superior Buttress NE facing to see if I could still find some creamy dry snow and was pleasantly surprised on the quality of skiing. Only activity I noted today was wet point releases on Cardiac Ridge, and the South facing steeper terrain on my trip back to Alta. Most of the steeper rocky terrain with South facing aspects are full of frozen clinkers, same goes for West facing. Photos, wet activity out of the rocks between Cardiac Bowl and Cardiac Ridge E facing, wet activity from yesterday on the due South just east of Cardiff Bowl.

Not sure if the dry snow made it through the day, it was getting really hot on my exit. I would think there would be a good window of corn tomorrow if you can find terrain without clinkers.
