Snow Characteristics Comments
We skied on the north side of Lightening Peak and the snow varied from dense wind crust to dense powder. Just a slight change of angle could mean wind board turned to powder. The snow in wind- and sun-sheltered terrain was soft, settled powder.

Red Flags Comments
There was a pretty large avalanche on a west-facing slope just to the north of the Tri Chutes. It looked like it started at a wind-loaded sub-ridge and ran full track. The Tri Chutes were completed wind hammered.
