Problem
Persistent Weak Layer
Problem #1 Comments
I could not affect the rock-hard drifts

Trend
Increasing Danger
Problem #2 Comments
Snow is much weaker where generally shallow.. Widespread and very weak near surface facets noted in sheltered terrain in upper snowpack. Danger is likely to increase with accumulating snow in the next few days.
Comments
Upper elevation terrain is pretty wind jacked... Drifting still going on, snow moving along the ground like migrating sand dunes.
