Comments

In the Bald Mountain Pass area, snowpack depth varies from none at all on many solar or wind-exposed slopes, to about a meter on shady, sheltered areas. Old activity from north facing Murdock could be spotted (pictured with faint crownline), and otherwise wet loose activity from the last week of heat on east facing terrain were the only avalanche observations. A photo is attached of east facing Haystack, where several wet loose avalanches are lined up. More avalanche debris was observed up close on east facing Bald Mountain, which originated near the top of the mountain, and entrained snow over the cliffs before depositing on an apron.
