Comments
2"-6" of faceting early November snow remained on mid and upper elevation ENE - NW slopes. The past 2 storms have deposited 12"-20" of new snow ontop of these facets with the density increasing throughout the middle of the new snow pack. This higer density snow in the mid pack is very supportable, and aided in propegation accross a wide area and onto sub-ridges. Human triggered collapsing accross the canyon was still prevalaint the following day. SW winds with transport and upper elevation riming also occured through the storm.
