Snow Characteristics Comments
Right-side up snowfall that came in dense and bonded well to existing surfaces. 10-15 cms new snowfall when exiting at 4 pm.
The new snow greatly improved travel and riding conditions, and they will be even better on Wednesday.
Comments
Conditions today verified Drew's forecast - Low danger with at most sluffing in the top 5-10 cms of new snow on steep aspects. The new snow bonded well to the old snow surfaces, so I am expecting any instabilities with snowfall overnight and into Wednesday will run within the storm snow. The only wind effect I could find were very shallow (5 cm) pockets that were < 1 meter wide.
