Comments
Travel today was a mixed bag of many different surfaces to start, where only a few inches of powder were present at the trailhead, and travel got better on the ascent. Surprised to still find cold dry snow on all aspect still. Although the powder is shallow on the solar aspects, it still has a good supportable layer to ride on. The North half of the compass continues to facet, but very good conditions exist in the sheltered terrain. The price of admission has become more of a challenge at the lower elevation.
