Snow Characteristics Comments
Around 10" of new, low density snow from this last storm. Snow seemed to be settling and thickening throughout the day on sunny aspects, but staying dry. Minimal slab formation found. Some large cornices have formed over east facing ridge lines (pictured). Loose dry activity was frequent on steeper slopes.

Comments
Beautiful day in the Tony grove area. We were surprised to find minimal wind slab formation at upper elevations between Magog and Miller bowl areas, other than some large cornices that have formed. Skiing on steep east and NE facing slopes was very nice, dry, and non-cohesive snow. We did have several small loose dry sluffs on steep slopes near cliff bands (pictured is one of the larger sluffs at 8600' on east aspect)
