Comments
Great spring day for flying the aircraft down the Wasatch range.
Noticed many new wet slides on the west face of timpanogoes that were not there the day before. Many running the entire way down the face.
No picture, but also found a slide on the NW aspect of Spanish Fork peak at about 8000ft. Seemed to have failed on facets. Guessing 30 ft wide and 40ft long area of snow about 2-3ft deep that peeled off and slid. May have been a natural and may have been triggered by a deer or other animal on the mountain. Either way the facets are there and slopes are waiting to slide.
