Forecast for the Skyline Area Mountains

Thursday morning, February 8, 2018
The majority of the terrain along the Skyline has a LOW avalanche danger. There is a small chance that a person might trigger a pocket on very steep slopes above 9500' that face northwest through east. The reality is that you are safe from avalanches in most places. Hitting rocks and stumps in the shallow snowpack is actually a bigger concern right now.
