Moderate gust along ridge lines. Near the ridge surface hoar blown into the skin track made forward progress difficult. It was easier to break a new trail. Next storm will make for increased avalanche condition.

Sloughs not moving far or with significant energy. Very weak snow surface on northerly slopes. Basal faceted snow also seems weaker than a week ago in these areas.

The moose have been making a mess of the skin track. There are brushy exits and a thin snowpack at lower elevations.
