The snowstorm has hit northern Utah hard with 42 inches of snow reported at Powder Mountain, 30" at Monte Cristo, 20" at Ben Lomond and Alta has a measly 11 inches so far. Observers report that many people were skiing and boarding yesterday at Snowbasin and all the observations we received reported good riding conditions on 2-3 feet of new snow, no one hitting rocks and the snow was mostly stable.
