Weather and Snow
We had a bit of a "sleeper storm" move through on Sunday, November 11th which added up to 10" of new snow in favored locations along the Skyline. Most areas received 4 to 8". The new snow was very low density. Pure Utah Powder! Too bad it didn't fall on a base or it would've been a genuine powder day. There was a fair amount of old snow from early October on the more northerly facing slopes in the mid and higher elevations. Otherwise, the new snow fell on bare ground. For some more details, check out THIS BACKCOUNTRY OBSERVATION.
It definitely felt like winter up in the hills on Sunday!

Additional Information
We are busy working through some bugs with our new website. We are practicing submitting some observations and creating a few forecasts although there really isn't enough snow to recreate on just yet.
