I triggered this avalanche from the safety of the ridge line. My partners and I thought it might go and all it took was riding around on top of the ridge for me to find the sweet spot. It released "remotely" which means it released from a distance away from me. I felt a slight collapse and a shooting crack from my vantage point. It broke into weak sugary faceted snow near the ground which I collapsed when I was "monkeying around" on the ridge. The deepest part of the fracture line was over 5 feet deep.

THERE ARE MANY MORE SLOPES OUT THERE LIKE THIS ONE JUST WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO TRIGGER THEM!
