Comments
The slide was intentionally triggered by a single ski cut that was just above the break over of the actual bowl (Although the ski cut was intentional we really didn't think it was even remotely low enough in the bowl the be effective) . The crown was 10-12' below the ski cut and propagated rapidly approximately 150' across the bowl with the deepest being 12" and the average being around 6". The left flank was almost identical to the left flank of the slide from a little over a week ago and the right flank was up against the trees on the right side of the bowl. The crown on the right appeared to be shallower and was much lower on the slope. I apologize for the poor quality of the low light phone pics.
