This slide was seen last week, and was a very large slide. Comparing the picture from last week it appears that the East side of the original slide slid again. You can see two snow mobile tracts that have been covered up by the new slide, that are not in the original picture. Snow conditions continue to get weaker as the snow continues to facet, shaded areas have surface hoar, and weak snow to the ground on aspects from east to north west. We will be in for another round of avalanches if we get more snow next week.

FORECASTER NOTE: It appears that this path was reloaded by the wind after the initial avalanche which happened last week. It is quite possible this was triggered by the snowmobiler who made the track that the avalanche covered up. Kobernik
