8am meeting at Big Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride. We will carpool up Big or Little Cottonwood and finish in the field around 430pm.

Prerequisite: Avalanche I
Join The Backcountry Pros and polish up on essential skills to help keep you and your partners safe while travelling in avalanche terrain. This one-day field-based course focuses on companion rescue, early season stability forecasting, terrain selection, and travel strategies to help prime your brain for the season to come. Gather your friends and get out here! This course is intentionally cheap to further encourage those in the local community to be current with their skills. An early season must do!
