Snow Characteristics Comments
Spring like snow conditions with firm snow this morning making it difficult to keep the sled cooled down until things softened. Supportable corn like snow on slightly northeast mid morning and did find some soft dense conditions in very protected north facing terrain. Overall, the conditions were holding up fairly well despite the warm weather this week.
Red Flags
Red Flags Comments
No red flags noticed, but the warm temperatures have impacted the snow supportability.

Problem #1 Comments
Surprised to not see more wet snow issues, but I think a person could find some unstable snow given the warm temperatures and the first real warm up for the snow pack.
Comments
Just some minor wet snow issues with some roller balls coming off warm rocks and a few dribblers from the cornices.
The lower angle terrain was riding and turning quite well around mid morning before conditions got too soft and I was heading back in around noon.
The highway took a hard hit this week with such warm weather.
The North Slope road is a little better, but conditions are getting thin at lower elevations.
