Snow above 9.5k was about 12-18" of powder on a dense snow layer.

The latest storm brought high winds and alot of wind transported snow. We noticed multiple wind loaded loaded slopes on the high exposed areas above the treeline.

We dug a snowpit on a north east aspect at about 10200ft. As you can see in the pics, we identified two "melt freeze" crust layers that could be problematic. See pics below.
We ran a CT test and a ECT test... Both of which produced a collapse, but no propagation, on the upper crust layer. However, both MF crust layers separated with a shovel shear.
Through out the day we saw some cracking (in wind loaded areas and drifts) and one natural avy release on a NE aspect which are signs of wind slab avalanches that could release.
