Weather Comments
A gray-bird start to the day and things would not change much from there. Humid and moist was the name of the game for the day, with snow surfaces damp and lower elevation snow coverage nearly melting out in places. Winds were cruising form the WSW and blowing what snow they could grab throughout the day.

Problem #1 Comments
With nearly 1" of SWE from this weekends storm, our snowpack has come back to life... slightly. It didnt seem to be enough to tip the scales, but word on the street and recent obs point to a natural cycle that occurred throughout the storm and into yesterday. Many avalanches were similar in characteristics, and failing on a variety of old snow surfaces including facets.
If we had gotten the forecasted water ammounts, I would have expected to see a larger, and more destructive avalanche cycle. For now, it seems this storm just slightly poked the bear, but that doesnt mean we cant kick it, and trigger one of these ourseves both on slope, and from a distance.
