Weather Comments
Cloudy and overcast this morning with cool temperatures with some partial clearing this afternoon and light south winds. There were a few snow flakes falling when I was leaving around mid day at the higher elevations. Felt like some greenhousing when the sun did try to break out and the clouds kept the heat in and the snow got slightly damp.

Snow Characteristics Comments
The snow has been slowly adding up this week with several inches around the trailhead and today I was finding a nice solid foot or more around 10,000'. What felt like medium density snow filled in old tracks and the snow rode quite well with some minor damp snow down along the highway.
Red Flags
Red Flags Comments
I did not observe any issues that were alarming, just some loose dry snow sluffing on steep north facing slopes and the wind was generally calm on the ridge line. The new snow was bonding to the old snow surface and the conditions got a little damp this afternoon at lower elevations.

Problem #1 Comments
Where I traveled today it felt pretty straight forward and there were no real avalanche problems. I would think at higher elevations the wind has created some drifting and possible wind slabs. Tomorrow and through the weekend I could see an increasing avalanche hazard with new snow and wind drifting.
Comments
The snow has been adding up this week and the riding conditions are very nice. I was finding a solid foot or more of new snow as I got higher up into the Whiskey Creek drainage. There is great supportable snow and easy traveling and just minor sluffing in steep terrain with the new snow.
