Weather Comments
This morning the temperatures were a little inverted with slightly cooler in town and a bit warmer at the trailhead. It did not get too warm today and the snow conditions stayed nice and supportable on all aspects with a slight northwest wind to help keep any wet snow issues pretty minor.

Snow Characteristics Comments
Nice spring snow conditions with a slight refreeze last night to keep things generally supportable for a good part of the day. I did not spend a lot of time on the solar aspects, but I found nice corn like snow on east and southeast facing slopes that rode quite nice for most of the morning. The north facing terrain was a mix of slightly damp to soft early spring snow.

Problem #1 Comments
The wet snow issues were fairly minor today with just a few small wet rollers with the heating of the day.
Comments
Quite the snowpack for the end of April and should be plenty of great spring riding.
The snow conditions stayed quite nice today with good supportable snow into the early afternoon and I did not observe any big wet snow issues while I was out in the Gold Hill area.
