Poking around up above Aspen Grove, avalanche danger felt low but noticed a few flags worth a comment. First it felt much warmer than the temp indicated in the sun, and there were a couple point release slides in rocky areas with direct sun (1st photo). Second- the facets are growing deep! 2nd photo). Any aspect not in direct sun has fantastic skiing conditions that will present an excellent problem layer with the next snowfall.
