We had some significant sluffing on steep north facing slopes today (Miller Chute and West Miller Bowl). The sluffs were very slow running and did not step down into any deeper layers. The sluffs only ran for several hundred vert. Other than these sluffs we did not notice any other red flags or recent avalanches.
The last two days we enjoyed excellent mid winter powder conditions (along with the rest of Cache Valley residents...). Yesterday the snow was bottomless and trailbraking was arduous. Today the snow had settled out more and was easier to get around, but still some of the best riding conditions we've in a long time.
