We skinned and cramponed up to the Hayden-Kletting col on our way to the summit of Kletting. Snow was generally thin, wind blown and hard, and felt solidly locked up most of the time. In places we did encounter a thin (4"-6") hard wind crust which would produce small shooting cracks though never running more than a foot or two. Soft pockets could be found here and there and we were able to ski most of the 2000' from the summit of Kletting down to our sleds. From below the summit I noticed the remnants of this slide off the East side of the Hayden-Kletting col. it looked like it probably released from the rocks above, ran a couple hundred feet and left a debris pile a few feet deep. We did not make a close inspection.
