Red Flags Comments
Below 8,000 ft, even though the snow was rotten I would guess it won't be a problem in the future. Snow depth didn't appear to be over 4" and where there was snow it was broken up by vegitation. Little to no wind loading observed below 8,000ft. There appeared to be more snow towards Ben Lomond, maybe 12" or so in some places, though we did not hike past 8,000ft to confirm. North/northeast slopes off Ben Lomond peak, where we normally see windloading, showed signs of windloading and deeper snow. This could be a problem in the future as I would guess that snow is rotten as well.
