Problem #1 Comments
Our primary concern today was the possibility of wind slabs on upper elevation North facing terrain. We did come across some wind affected snow in places, this snow was more dense than some of the light powder we found in other areas, but not cohesive enough to act as a slab. We really didn't encounter any real wind slabs at all today. And we watched several other parties ski high elevation NE and N facing terrain without evidence of wind drifted snow.

Problem #2 Comments
Thursday's big rain storm in town dropped 8 inches of light density snow in the upper elevations. Mid elevation, sheltered north facing slopes had light dry powder. This snow was more dense in places where it was sun and/or wind affected. We triggered a couple small sluffs on steep, north facing terrain. These were small in size and quite manageable. We also watched a couple other parties trigger some short running sluffs that seemed to be low consequence.
Comments
Photo 1: Sluffs running below the cliffs from daytime heating
Photo 2: Skier triggered sluffs in Gravel Pit, look closely and you can see the crux of the gully filled with some debris
Photo 3: We "ski tested" some steeper, rocky lines near Lone Pine and triggered some decent sized sluffs.
Photo 4: We got a good look at the old wet slab in Talking Mountain.
Photo 5: Buncha tracks on Tuk.
