Comments
New snow ranged from about 4-6 inches to a foot of new snow at 10,800 feet.
Winds had not transported much snow except right at ridgelines. Pillows and drifts were small and confined just under cornices. By late afternoon they would not crack and seem well bonded.
Photo below shows the dense layer of snow that fell early Wednesday morning with lighter snow on top. This lighter snow made riding conditions quite good by the end of the day. Snow on southerly and westerly aspects got damp from some sunshine getting through the clouds. It wasn't wet but just damp enough to make the skiing a bit tougher and should have a slight crust by Thursday morning.
