Problem #1 Comments

Wind was blowing and with new snow windslabs are my greatest concern. Not a whole ton of snow blowing around besides what fell today due to how heavy the old snow was.

Comments

Sorry no Photos today. I did go up to north fork this morning to look around. I was unable to spot any recent avalanches even with Binoculars. There was one 200x1.5 ft slide on a NE aspect off the divide that started on a slick rocky surface. I am very surprised nothing else really came out. Monte was a mixed bag of windblown and soft new snow. Riding was difficult due to lack of visibility in the afternoon and hidden wind waves. S2+ snowfall when I left around 3pm. My biggest surprise from today was the lack of natural activity up north fork from the Slabs to Black Canyon (Might not have seen some but pretty good vis early morning).
