Problem #1 Comments
The new snow produced some natural loose snow avalanches, mostly class 1's before we got out this morning. I'm sure this occurred during the peak snowfall rates. The new snow was still sensitive if disturbed which would produce loose snow avalanches. These had the potential to get fairly large if they ran on a sustained enough slope. Alone a manageable avalanche concern.

Problem #2 Comments
Faceted snow still a concern under the uppermost rain crust in the area I was today. I rate it as very stubborn but it did propagate in ECTs. This area hold the strongest snow that I've seen around but I'll be waiting until this series of storms passes before trusting anything too much. Outlying areas that I've visited are much worse in my opinion. Obviously, wind transport and additional snow will determine if it becomes active.
