Avalanche Problem #1
Problem #1 Comments
I dug a pit at 9825 feet alt. to look for facets. I Found none. I found wet snow at ground level, and starting at 34 cm from the ground I found dirty graupel. there was a dirty ice layer with graupel above the ice layer.ended at 69 cm. snow temp at 34 cm was -3 degrees C. snow temp at 60 cm was - 5 degrees C.
