Comments
I toured today through Yellow Jacket, Alexander Basin, and exited off of Gobblers into Porter Fork.
The snow has had a few days to settle into its new skin. You can still see the old avalanches in Depth Hoar Bowl and Raymond.
Only a few people were out in this location and it seemed that most people are continuing to avoid the avalanche problems and using good terrain choices.
There are no new avalanches, no cracking or collapses. The structure is still poor in some locations. I am feeling like the snowpack has finally started to fill in in more locations above 8500' and has gained some new strength. I will still be patient and avoid certain locations and runs.
