Beautiful sunny day with soft snow, solars took on some heat in places where the wind was not cooling them. Winds on the Nebo ridgeline from the WNW where blowing all day.

Overall red flags where minimal in the terrain we travelled in. But there where multiple recent avalanches. So although the snow might feel good, there is still poor snowpack structure.

There is poor structure and recent avalanches failing on buried persistent weak layers. While this recent storm system put a sizable amount of snow that will help heal these layers over time, we are not out of the water yet.

We did not get ECT results on the standard taps. But a hard hit produced and ECTP32 failing on the Feb 13 interface. There are facets in the bottom half of the snowpack, but they are showing signs of strengthening.
