I don't think this step down crown was here this morning on my drive up to grizzly...maybe it was though. Hard to even see it all with so much carnage on steep south facing terrain with rocks above. Feels like spring is here. Debris covered up tracks on the lower apron. Guessing natural but maybe someone on the ridge kicked something down that entrained enough to step down. Second time this season I've seen a big slab crown on central south face. The weak structure is there, may be stubborn and difficult for a skier to trigger but the weight of a wet loose reveals all.
