Red Flags Comments
Noted some several days old natural slides involving recent storm snow on steep NE slopes. Nothing that appeared to break into the buried PWL. Weak thin snow around rock outcrops where I could push my pole to the ground.

Problem #1 Comments
ECTP 13 70 cm above the ground. HS 140-170 cm NW at 8700 ft. Faceted graupel layer below old MF crust. Elected to ski a different aspect. I think this reinforces the benefit of digging a snow pit or a few even in low-moderate hazard day. We really didn't expect this result.

Full propagation 70 cm above ground. Easy shovel shear on same layer.
