Comments
Travels today revealed a rain/rime crust that encompassed the observed area (9800' and lower). The riding conditions were relatively unnaffected by the crust, however, due to just how thin it remained. The new snow produced interesting test results in a profile dug on sheltered E, with a non propagating failure below the new snow and old MF crust on January facets, and a propagating failure on early season facets. For reference - the January facets have been reactive on the range within the last day, but the early season facets have not been for several weeks.
