Problem #1 Comments
Given the recent storms and avalanche observations my partner and I decided to take a walk over to Mt Wolverine bowl to dig a pit and see what we'd find. Being upper elevation (10600') and NE facing we expected to see the PWL. Pit details:
  • Wind loaded
  • 95 cm depth HS
  • PWL at ground (decomposing facets)
  • PWL at 40 cm
  • CT22 planar collapse @ 40 cm PWL
