Comments
Travel was to Guardsman Pass through the woods to the ridgeline and along the north ridge to 10420. Returned via the road; still too thin out there. There was 4" of new snow and no wind.
Snow depths were 12-18-24" and structurally similar: the lower half being a mess of mostly facets and occasionally basal or otherwise crusts. (representative "snow profile" below).
ECTXs fell in line with an absence of cracking and collapsing to indicate that this first storm wasn't enough of a new loading event for avalanching, at least in terrain I traveled today.
This may change in a couple days with the next storm.
