Weather and Snow
High pressure over the weekend, brought the last stretch of tranquil weather and amazing views to the high country.
Tuesday's storm veers away from Jimmy Buffet, channels its inner Warren Buffet... buys low and sells high, as North Slope snowpack portfolios go from zero to hero! A solid 8" of snow with .92" H20 stacks up in mid elevation terrain... 14" snow with 1.3" H20 in the high country. About 1/2 that amount materializes for the south half of the range. NW winds blow 10-20 mph and temperatures hover in the teens. A break in the action is slated for mid week, followed by an active, yet not overly impressive pattern through the weekend.
