Comments
I got back up to Hoyt today and discovered the remaining hang fire, skiers right, from the slide I triggered on Sunday had naturaled overnight mid-storm. Much of the remaining steep terrain, skiers left, had also sluffed out naturally. I was able to put in a small ski cut at the top of the line I slide out on Sunday and get the remaining snow to run out exposing a melt-freeze crust. With our deep snow pack and much of the new snow mitigated, I was able to safely ski the main line.
