When I issued the forecast at o'dark thirty, I observed a couple traces of snow. But, an over-achieving cold front rolled through the region, stacking up 8" of low density snow from 07:00-11:00

Today's storm snow stacked up fast and furious and was hyper-reactive to the additional weight of a rider... or a well-placed snowball :)
