Winds the past few days has really moved allot of snow and is loading the ridges for sure. Circle Awl cornices isn't huge but they were much larger than 2 weeks ago during my last summit.
Comments
I snowshoed to Circle Awl Peak Monday late PM. The snow was light and blower pow. Only a few skiers and skinned up and there was plenty of untracked powder.
I observed no cracking or collapsing. The winds were brisk and moving some snow on the ridges. I couldn't see any avys on Kessler, Raymond or Gobblers.
